Fourslide Stampings

The versatility of the fourslide affords lower cost tooling coupled with multiple slide motions not available in a typical progressive metal stamping operation. The fourslide metal forming process produces quality, close tolerance components.

We also offer in-die insertion of electrical contacts, rivets, PEM® Fasteners and screws. Gemco can also provide in-die thread tapping, in-die spot welding, and two stage tooling that eliminates secondary operations thus reducing component costs.

The fourslide process can produce complicated wireforms and wireform components with consistent adherence to tolerances and higher speeds than CNC wireforming thus producing lower component costs.

Our Fourslide Machines provide Gemco with excellent capacity in both strip and wire forms. These machines allow us to form strip metal from .004 through .078 thick and wire diameters from .010 through .1875, depending on the complexity of the part.
